About Us

Jocelyn S. Davis and Amanda C. E. Levy are co-founders of in the Positive Workplace Alliance focusing on helping organizations establish and maintain workplaces where individuals flourish and the organization thrives in meeting its mission.

As senior consultants and business leaders, Jocelyn and Amanda bring a distinctive blend of real world experience, leading edge research and practical applications to their work.

Each has substantive management experience: large technology and financial systems implementation projects, organizational change & development (culture change) projects, small company start-ups and association management to name a few; and have worked equally successfully with organizations large and small, in both the private and public sectors.

Ever in search of 'a better way' to achieve improved performance, organizational results, personal engagement and fulfillment, Jocelyn and Amanda studied with Professor Martin E. P. In Dr. Seligman's program, they moved from participant to instructor, moderating international learning groups within this course.

Jocelyn and Amanda have since developed a broad body of knowledge of the theory and research in positive psychology and, more specifically, working with a broad range of disciplines, have explored and developed its applications to the business world.

They will be the instructors for Managing Project Teams at the Clark School of Engineering, Project Management Program at the University of Maryland, College Park. Maryland is the first university offering a project teams course grounded in positive psychology principles.
